Rent Blockbuster DVDs by Mail

Blockbuster Online is a competitor to Netflix (the guys who started the whole rent-dvds-by-mail industry). Blockbuster are the big guys in the movie rental business, so they have a good chance of putting Netflix out of business. (But if that makes you worried about signing up with Netflix, don't worry, if they go out of business you'll get to keep the DVDs you haven't mailed back yet.)
The biggest advantage that Netflix advertised over Blockbuster conventional store operations was "No Late Fees". However, just recently Blockbuster made a big announcement that they are dropping late fees as of 1/1/05! That is huge news. But, the fine print says if you keep the movie for 8 days, they will automatically SELL you the item. Because of that, its still safer to rent DVDs by mail.
The Blockbuster price is $17.99 per month for 3 movies out a time, and you also get 2 FREE in-store movie rentals per month (for those last minute movie impulses). This solves the problem that most people complain, "I don't always know several days in advance what movie I want to see!"
